New Payloaders

In our efforts to further reduce emissions and remain the most environmentally friendly silicon carbide producer globally, ESD is transitioning from WA-600 to WA-500 pay loaders. The new machines adhere to the EU Stage V emissions standard and provide a more ergonomic working environment for our operators. The new machines will result in a decrease from 0,138 CO2 ton-liter-hour (WA-600) to 0,064 CO2 ton-liter-hour (WA-500). The WA-500 are also more fuel efficient; consuming an average of 25 liters per hour, compared to an average of 50 liters per hour for the old pay loaders. In addition to be

Dust control in the sourcing area with a static spray system

A high pressure pump ensures that the water atomized under a pressure of 70 Bar. This creates a very fine mist in the hall, this mist is ideal for removing dust particles from the air. The pumps are equipped with a frequency control, which reduces energy consumption to a minimum.

ESD-SIC was already at the forefront in the global SiC market, especially in terms of the environment and process technology. We want to further consolidate this position by using sustainable raw materials, reducing CO₂ emissions, saving energy , and cooperating with regional chain partners and other stakeholders. An innovative and socially responsible company, ESD-SIC and its approximately 100 employees produce up to 65,000 tonnes of high-quality semi-finished SiC according to very strict environmental requirements.

The production and processing of silicon carbide and the various environmental installations require a great deal of knowledge and expertise in the area. A wealth of technical knowledge has been obtained through innovative developments within our own company.
